Hi tutor,
I was wondering to what detail can this area come up in the F7 exam as I’ve noticed there is a technical article on it in the F7 page but it is not mentioned on the Kaplan study text at all.
Will it just be a suspense account balance on a trial balance or is a long question based on error correction possible/likely?
Thank you,
Samir
April 21, 2016 at 7:14 pm #312122Of course it’s possible to have a long question on suspense accounts, error correction or bank reconciliations
However, I believe that it’s highly improbable!
That article was last reviewed in 2015! If it comes in at all in 2016, it will probably be for 2 marks.
But there is a lesson here …. any topic from your earlier studies (whether you were exempt or not) COULD be asked in any later paper
🙂

Thanks Mike. I think I will look at the article and get a general idea of the topic just in case. Thank you for the information and quick response.
April 22, 2016 at 3:59 pm #312241That would be a sensible idea anyway 🙂
And, as always, you’re welcome
