I am receiving emails from ACCA regarding P4 updated syllabus which i attempted in March 2016(previous attempt). Is it a sign of Failure. plz tell me.

When did u receive the letter? Just today?
No it does not mean that.
You have choosen P4 as your preference in Student Accountant and you will keep receiving e-mails regarding that paper until you Qualify or if you still have paper/(s) to attempt and you change your preferred paper in SA to them.
Don’t make stupid guesses as ACCA told it million times that it is genetic e-mail.
