Hello,
I am thinking of attempting F4 (Global) CBE exam in coming June 2016. I wanted to know if it would be ok to study from F4 (Global) 2015 study text instead of 2016, since I have got 2015 study text.

That should be ok …. if you insist on using a study text!
F4 should be within your abilities with just the course notes, the lectures from chapter 11 onwards (the first 8 chapters are not covered in lectures), and a revision kit from one of the reputable publishers.
Lots of question practice and you could nail it in June
