Sir,
I went through the list of accounting standards in the study guide, is it ok to assume that standards not listed in the guide will not be tested such as IAS 41?
And, what is standard costing systems about?February 29, 2016 at 10:18 am #302590If you look in your search engine for “P2 examinable documents” you’ll find that IAS 41 IS examinable!
Where have you found the expression “standard costing systems”? This sounds like an F2 topic!

I found that in the p7 international study guide under part D3(a)
February 29, 2016 at 9:46 pm #302705It’s got to be a fringe area – maybe a question will be asked where you have the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to recall the principles of standard costing …….. but I wouldn’t hold my breath if I were you
