Sir, I just started my ACCA 5 months backs and recently attempted F9 since i got exemption for first 4 papers…..im doing F8 at the moment when few days back i came to know that it would be good if i complete F7 and then go for F8 since bought forward knowledge from F7 is required to attempt F8….well is that true? How do u see it?
You do no need to study F7 to be able to do F8. In theory, in order to be able to say that financial statements give a true and fair view you have to ensure that they comply with accounting standards, in practice in F8 this is not examined much. It is certainly not worth studying a whole additional exam.
