Hi, I am presently in singapore my stay will not be permanent its for 3 years only which one should i opt english or global. Thanks in advance
December 9, 2015 at 10:56 am #289539Where are you going afterwards? What are your longer term plans? Do you see yourself practicing as an accountant / auditor in the UK? After Singapore, where next?
All of these must be addressed before you can make your decision.
If you have ambitions to practice in the UK with a practicing certificate, then it’s English variant for you
If you have no such ambition then the choice is yours – neither one not the other is better
Personally, I find English law more fun than Global
In addition, there is a full suite of lectures on this site for the English variant whereas there’s only about 60% of the global syllabus covered (where the two syllabi coincide)
But whether you settle for English or Global, when you come across something that you don’t understand, you are welcome to post on the Ask the Tutor page and I’ll get back to you
