Please Tutor, is it possible (unlike in the lecture where we had “B”) that the ISO- contribution line reaches its farthest point within the feasible area, at a point where two lines do not intersect – say point “A”. If it is, then what equations should be used.
and please what does “ISO” mean and what sort of questions like you said might be asked directly about it (ISO-contribution line)…
thank you in advanceIt is always where two lines intersect. It could certainly be at point A but that is where the labour line crosses the S axis, and the equation for the S axis is E = 0
ISO simply means ‘same’. So the iso contribution line is a line where the contribution is the same at every point along the line.
