Hello,
I’m working full time and I want to become accountant in France. I choose ACCA because it’s an international diploma. Shall I study first F1, then F2 and F3 or it is better to study the 3 at same time ? How long will it take to study F1, F2 and F3 ? Is it possible to study alone and to make the exam in a school like Kaplan ? How much it will cost me ?
Thanks for your help.
TabarakDecember 3, 2015 at 1:26 pm #287253It all depends on your background eg whether you have any previous experience in accounting. It also depends on your standard of English, though your question uses very good English.
The length of time studying varies a huge amount but I would guess, working in the evenings and at weekends, about a couple of months per subject might be OK. You might want to ask your question on the ACCA Forums to see what other students have said.
It is possible to study on your own – certainly for lower papers. We provide lectures and notes here and many people use no other resources yet are successful. However, you should buy question books form BPP, Kaplan or Becker. Question practice is very important.
Cost depends on the company and the study package you choose ($Nil here!) and information will be available on the companies’ websites.
Finally, it would be worth finding out from ACCA where you can sit their exams in France. You have to register as a student to see this, I think. See:

Hope that helps.
December 3, 2015 at 2:38 pm #287278Thanks for your help. I checked the link. I want to work asap. Is it true that you can work if you have Diploma in Accounting and Business (F1 to F3) or you need F1 to F9 papers (= knowledge module and skills modules). Or CAT (FTX, FFM, FAU) ? I’m lost…
