Hi John I normally use simultaneous equation to find optimal solution on each point of intersection on the feasible region. but i dont know the basis that is used to find ISO contribution line. for eg when objective function C=9x+8y what assumption am I to make to find iso contribution line so that i only calculate the constraints that have optimal solution to save time.
    Thanks

You should watch the free lecture on linear programming where I explain how to do this.

It is only the angle/gradient of the iso-contribution line that is needed and so you can let C be any figure you want because the angle will be the same whatever the value of C.

In the free lecture I go through how to choose a sensible value for C in order to draw the line.

I watched the lecture again and again, finally i got the silent point as the further away of the parallel line from origin i.e zero the greater the contribution.
    nice one OT!
