Hello,Can you please tell me that the payroll function is performed by which department? The Human resources or the Finance Department?

Payroll function is a bit split.
HR should look after leavers, joiners and pay rises.
The calculation of pay is done by the payroll dept, or in small companies, the accounts department.
Inputs:
New joiner notification, pay rates and changes, tax changes, hours worked, bonuses, leavers.
Outputs: pay slips, bank transfer data, tax data and tax payment data. There could also be analyses of what labour time was spent on.
