Dear Mike,
Hello!
I intended to sit P7 in Mar 2016 session and I will be having F8 exam in Dec 2015 session. In terms of revision strategy, do you think it is ideal if I study F8 and P7 simultaneously? If it is possible, what should I do if I study them together (I passed a CBE of Assurance with a chartered accountancy body with 80%+ so I do not start for F8 from zero)?
Apart from this, do you have any strategy in tackling the question in the revision kit? Should I write an answer plan against the marking scheme rather than writing sown the whole answer for questions in the revision kit?
Also, I heard that I should have one paragraph for each mark in the questions asked so should I tackle questions in this way?
Thanks a lot!
Have a nice day!

For P7 preparation, I recommend simply reading, as often as you can face it, the past exam questions and answers 2, 3 or 4 times.
Then practice planning answers within the time allocation for planning (number of marks / 2 = number of minutes reading and planning time)
“Also, I heard that I should have one paragraph for each mark in the questions asked so should I tackle questions in this way?”
Absolutely, yes
