i have been attempting this f7 for 5 times in a row now and every time i get stuck between 40-49 … cant cross the line … can you please advice me what i can do to pass this paper in dec 2015 .. i really need some guidance as to what to study and what to do
Have you read the F7 exam technique article on this site and the general exam technique article
Have you done all the mini-exercises and all the worked revision examples following through as I write answers on the screen?
Have you practised endlessly the past exam questions and then gone back and done all the mini exercises again?
Have you answered all the mcqs in the BPP material and have you tried to swap your BPP material for some else’s Kaplan material so that you have twice the number of mcqs to practice on?
Have you done all of that, and then done it again and then again and then ……
Because, if you have, then you shouldn’t need to be writing a post like this and you shouldn’t have failed 5 times !
nope havent done what you said , tho i have done bpp and kaplan kits . and last 5 year past papers
Well, 5 unsuccessful attempts with BPP and Kaplan – maybe you should try opentuition but, not mentioned above, you need also to work through the course notes whilst listening to the video lectures.
Then, maybe this time, we’ll get you over the line

the main issue i am having are the mcqs , where should i practice them . MCQS are really bugging me off
The mcqs are only questions testing your understanding – and clearly you’re not understanding because otherwise you wouldn’t be fazed by the mcqs!
Besides, there haven’t been 5 exams with mcqs – only 3 so far – so believe me (and this may be hard to swallow) you’re not up to it!
My advice still stands. Go back to basics, watch the lectures, work through the notes, particularly the mini exercises. Follow the videos where I work through past exam questions. Practice as many mcqs as you can get your hands on. Hopefully you haven’t written your previous answers actually in the revision kits of Kaplan and BPP – at least then you can go through all the mcqs again and again
But you say this is your main issue – it isn’t! You’r main issue is understanding enough from the other 3 questions so that mcqs are bonus marks

Neither, now. You’ve done the exam 5 times so you should already have enough grounding to enable you to get through the course notes quite rapidly. You’ve already got BPP and Kaplan material. It’s time to practice. Honestly and under timed conditions
Watch the videos where I go through the past exam questions (Revision lectures)
Read the exam technique articles for both F7 specifically and the general exam technique approach
In addition, you’ll find two articles by members of the P4 marking team in the P4 technical articles section – they are articles on exam approach
Go through those mini exercises that I keep mentioning and do then 2 / 3 / 4 times. They are topics that appear in (virtually) every exam and they should represent 10 / 12 / 14 marks that you absolutely KNOW that you’re going to score – marks in the bag – before you even get into that exam room
Repeatedly work through mcqs, over and over. 10 minutes waiting for a bus? Do some mcqs! Half an hour left at lunch time? Do some mcqs! Dinner not ready for another 20 minutes? Do some mcqs!
The key to success in these exams is familiarity with the subject matter added to a whole lot of exam technique. Practice, practice, practice
