Hi Mike,
I want to take CBE for F4 in Oct 2015. I already passed F6, F7 in Singapore Variant.
If I take CBE global or English variant, can I still apply as chartered accountant of Singapore? Thanks in advance!
Have a nice day!September 25, 2015 at 12:31 pm #273539Nicole! I have no idea! Your best source will surely be the Singapore Accountancy body
I’m sorry not to be able to help you beyond that 🙁
October 1, 2015 at 6:59 am #274373Thanks a lot Mike!
Further more, if I choose CBE for F4, will Global or English variant better for me? By the way, I’m based in Singapore, Singapore variant sources of law may be quite similar with the English source law. Yet based on my study of the difference of GLO and ENG variant, global variant seems like covering a wider range of law but not in depth. Is it? Will it be easier to access more study resources here for English variant?
Thanks.October 2, 2015 at 7:03 am #274615Hi, you’re probably correct in your assessment of the difference between Global and English but both are relatively straight forward if you’ve done the work.
As for availability of study material …. the whole of the Internet is there for you! The recorded lectures on this site are for the English variant but, if you choose to do Global, just over half the lectures are applicable to that variant.
And, of course, whichever you choose, I’m still going to be here to answer your questions whenever you are facing a problem
