I have seen the word “agree” being used as in ” agree to general ledger and fin. statements”
I have also seen “Reconcile to general ledger and FS”
is “agree” the same as “reconcile”?

Hie Mansoor.whilst I am not so sure whether these are the same the word agree to can be used interchangibly with trace to.read the technical article on student account “audit procedures ” .it will give you a great insight .
