ACCA Tutor I need help desperately. I have written P5 Advanced performance mgt for more than 8 time but always failing. I have used recommended text books and rev kits including past papers during my studies- nothing seems to work! What do you think I need to do for me to pass this paper? I have already paid for September 2015 exam. It is the last exam I have to clear before I could become an Affiliate. On behalf of many students who are struggling to clear this paper, what is it that we are not doing or doing which is disadvantaging us? It is an open secret that P5 has the worst pass rate in the ACCA professional programme. I need some hope now more than ever_ only 4 weeks from now I will be writing this exam again.
I don’t know if you have changed your approach during your 8 attempts, but if you are working the same way then the same outcome might be expected.
You need to do something different – ideally trying to attend a revision course that specialises in practising questions. That might not be possible for you, but search the Internet to see if something is available.
The P5 lectures here at OT have bee redone and at the end of each chapter there are suggested exam questions to try. You will have done them before, but look critically at the differences between your answer and the model answers.
