Sir what is the difference between Express nd apparent authority of an agent in agency law??
Express is wye the agents authority is given to him / her by the principal.
Apparent (ostensible) is where the agent has authority because of their position, or by estoppel, or out of necessity. The principal doesn’t say “I appoint you as my agent” The principal, for example, appoints a person as a manager of a hotel owned by the principal. That manager would seem to have authority ….. would apparently have authority
