The question asked to prepare the revenue extract from Bycomb’s consolidated statement of profit or loss for the year ended 31 March 2015.
There was 1 mark for this.
What would I need to have done to secure half a mark?
For example, if I had failed to deduct the $3 million sales from Bycomb to Cyclip, would I have got half a mark?
If I had failed to time-apportion Cyclip’s post-acquisition revenue @ 9/12, would I have got half a mark?
Many thanks
Probably ….. make one mistake, lose half a mark.
Make two mistakes, score zero
Thanks Mike,
Continuing on to 1(b)(ii) preparation of the cost of sales extract for 3 marks, do you think it might be the same………make one mistake, lose half a mark………make 5 mistakes, lose two and a half marks?
Absolutely, yes!
