Hi Michael,
How are you? I hope you are well.
First of all, passed my p2(int) and really delighted. I swear I thought I was going to fail.
However I failed the P7 ?. Honestly, I thought results were going to be the other way around.
I scored 42% and wondering whether you can advise me for my next sitting?
I followed your lectures and notes and thought I wrote enough to secure a pass, but, unfortunately not. I’m really sad Michael. I thought I was going to be able to tell my dad I qualified as a CA.
What should I do to improve my chances of success? I finished a whole bottle of glenlivet 12 years by myself last night. Just this one miserable paper left to go!
Warmest regards.

Read my response to Kerrymag just below this thread. Then come back to me if you haven’t gained anything

Ok, so I read your reply to Kerrymag. It’s very informative but where can I have a look at the articles you mentioned, ie the ones written by you and the p4 examining team (4 articles). A link would help.
Recent posts in the exam result page. Is that in the opentuition website?
In reference to IAS/IFRS standards, is there any website, notes, that provide simplified explanations that can help instead of revising the large P2 content?
Thank you.
August 3, 2015 at 7:56 am #264914Re websites for IFRS / IAS summaries, I find http://www.iasplus to be very useful
The articles are on this site – look in the “ACCA, P7, exam technique” for my two articles and, for the articles by the two P4 markers look on “P4 technical articles”
If you can’t find them, post again and I’ll get you a link
