I am from Pakistan, passed all exams of CAT and ACCA till F9, i want to discontinue my ACCA as i did not really see any career for ACCA in Pakistan. For example my 5 friends who passed ACCA are jobless and now they are working in very low salery while one of them was place winner of ACCA.. secondly i really dont want to continue ACCA because P series looks difficult to me (i have attempt P2 first time in June 2015) and it was horrible..
So, my question is, what to do with half ACCA qualification? will i got admission in any university in Pakistan or any where in the world? i heard that it is equal to graduation in some countries like Malaysia and UK?
Can i also get my Bsc hons degree on the bases of ACCA qualification without completing my professional papers?

I will not advice you to discontinue from where you have reached. You have gone very far and trying to accomplish what you have started will not let you down. Yes the P papers seems very difficult but some have passed through so you can if only you determine. Also learning is not always about working for people for salary, it is one of the self accomplishment every person aspire to achieve. You don’t know what the future holds for you, you may not stay in your country forever and the qualification you have now may be a valuable asset if it happens that you travel outside your country and even establish your own business. I wish you all the best.
Unfortunately it is hard to get admission in Pakistan on basis of ACCA only.. that also Half completed. As per my knowledge except few universities in UK most of the good universities also require academic degree for entrance.
If you are eligible for Bsc OBU then obtain it.. yes you can do it without completing P series.
Apply for Master courses in UK , Canada or Australia or any preferred place…. but keep in mind Post-graduation is hell expensive …. and if u include living cost its gonna cost u double.
Lastly if none works go for ICAP.
Dont discontinue your ACCA until and unless u have an alternative qualification.@Handsome said:

either start ICAP
or go for MBA/Msc from good universityICAP will take at least 6-7 years if u pass in first goo (but its worth it in Pakistan, you’ll earn good with your grey hair… silver lining)
MBA/Msc will cost you a lot with good university.. (remember doing Master from cheap university is waste)

But it seems many students are going for ACCA here in Karachi/Pakistan.

I have no idea about Karachi market..
Even i have applied for ACCA trainee in Mezaan Bank through ACCA page, they call me for interview and do you know howmuch they were paying for an audit trainee? they offered me 1700 + 1000 on each paper i have passed.. I mean seriously, is this what we are going to get after spending hundreds thousands on ACCA? on other hand my friend who has passed BBA got job in State bank while other friend with B.com is working in HBL and they got these jobs NTC (the organization who is famous for fraud) but they qualified them on merit.. and they both are earning very well with other benefits like medical, insurance, travel expense etc.. and this is what demotivate me most..

i want to do MBA or Msc but unfortunatly after passing CAT and 9 papers of ACCA i am not even count as graduate in Pakistan :/

Either go abroad or start ICAP thats all I can say… no good uni will consider you graduate without inter in Pak… even Obu wont help… thats the rule in Pak and u should knew it.

Dear Muhammad,
LUMS does not offer any exemption in any form to an ACCA. You may e-mail your inquiry at admissions@lums.edu.pk for further clarifications.And i did not asked about MBA or any master degree, i have asked about BBA because as much as i know on the bases of OBU BS you can claim some exemption in BBA in Pakistan..

Well i do not agree with NTS thing, yes i know there is corruption in this department but there is still hope because on of my sister got through NTS process while i know many other examples..

i dont know abt exemption….. but i know one can do master from lums/iba if one can get equivalence certificate from hec pakistan of obu degree….
and pass GMAT or other test of the university and other requirement…you can opt for cfa.. tooooo ………….. it has WONDERFUL scope all around the world….
CFA is equal to elite university MBA….
