Good morning, What is the meaning of ‘Production Run’? What’s the difference with ‘set-up’?
Thank you
A production run is when the machine produces a batch of unit.
The machines need to be set-up for each production run. So the number of set-ups is the same as the number of production runs.
Have you watched the free lectures, because I do explain this in the lecture (and there is no point in using the notes without the lectures – it is in the lectures that we explain and expand on the notes) ?
Thank you so much.
Yes I watched the lectures and I think I should watch it again to understand more.
Thank you
You are welcome 🙂
