Good day all, I am an ACCA student studying in Singapore and I am wondering which variant should I be recommended to take?
But my real question is, does it matter what variant I take? I know that the variant we take will be reflected on our myACCA score sheet but would employers take into consideration of which variant we take and will taking the English variant affect my chances of employment locally? Also, will studying either variant make my job as an accountant harder if I were to choose employment locally?
Thank you, hope I could obtain some advice.
You need English variant if you have ambitions to practice as an accountant in the UK. Otherwise, if that’s not on the agenda and there is no chance that it will appear on the agenda later in life, then global should suit you fine
