Hi All,
Looking for advice as trawling the web hasn’t really given me any answers.
I just have F8 left from the F papers so want to take that next along with one P Paper but the problem is that I haven’t a clue which one!
As F8 is all ‘wordy’ I was hoping to combine it with something more computional but the descriptions of P1 and P3 seem to suggest they are mostly wordy also. P2 isn’t but the advice seems to be to tackle that as a standalone?
Bit of background:
Just done F4, F5 and F9 in this sitting so those are the most fresh in my mind. F6 and F7 were done a while back with a gap since then.
Planning on taking P6 as one of the options and either P4 or P5 as the other (no desire to work in audit). Enjoyed F9 more than F5 although exam was harder.
So, what should I do? I know P6 is the only one I’m looking forward to as such but think it’s probably better not to jump straight to that due to not having done F6 that recently so I suppose I need to build on what’s fresh, what will go with F8 and what won’t be all discursive.
Going round and round in circles so any advice would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Jenny

P2 is a standalone when you reach level 3 or done with P7 as they both cover the same areas they both require an understanding of IAS and IFRS.
you just did 3 big papers so tackling P2 with another shouldnt be a problem, plus you want some calculation in the mix so that would be best way to go.
just remember Mike’s tantra the only way to pass them is to “practice, practice and then practice some more’
good luck which ever way you choose.

That was the way I was leaning but I was a bit wary because the general consensus seemed to be ‘do P2 by itself’.
It’s hard to guage what each paper is like without actually buying the books and getting stuck in so I really appreciate the advice.
