    Hello
I am planning to take f5,f6(uk),f7,f8 for this September exam session and I have the following questions:
1)when is the early exam entry for september 2015?
2)is there any change in the syllabus Or exam style of the above papers ?
3)are the opentuition notes and lectures for the above papers valid for September 2015?
    4) can i still use the exam kit/revision kit which is valid up to June 2015?

    Regards

1 You should look on the ACCA website ( http://www.accaglobal.com ) to find the dates for entry for the exam. or here https://opentuition.com/acca/acca-exam-dates/

2 There are no changes to the syllabus or to the format of the exam from June to September – certainly for F5 and F6. You should ask on the F7 and F8 Ask the Tutor Forums about these papers.

3 Although the notes will be revised during this month (as they always are every three months) any changes will only be minor spelling mistakes. Some of the lectures will be re-recorded but only to improve the sound quality.
So the existing notes and lectures are fine to study from.

4 Yes – for F5 and F6 there are no syllabus changes. Certainly there are quite a few errors in the F5 Revision Kits (I don’t know about the other papers because I do not teach them) and presumably the errors will be corrected in the new editions. Otherwise there is no problem.

Finally, if you are working full time, then I would suggest that taking 4 papers in September is too many. These exams are harder than university exams, which is why most people take just 2 papers at each sitting. The pass rates for all of the papers tends to be about 40% because they are so difficult.

Thanks a million Mr Moffat for instant reply

Please correct me if I am wrong so I would still be able to use any study materials(either from opentuition or any ACCA approved learning partners)for f5 and f6 which are valid up to 2015 June for september exam sitting because there is no change whatsoever.right?

You are correct – you can use June F5 and F6 material for the December exams.
