In case of provisions if inflow of economic resource is virtually certain, what will be the double entry?
Dr Receivable, Cr Disposal Account
Debiting recievables account is ok but why to credit disposal account?
Fr exam we hav a leasehold proprty & currntly it cannot be let out to thrd pirty bt it is virtually certain that after few mnths it will be occupied by a third party.
So in this case the same above double entry will be rocorded?

You cannot anticipate income like that!
I had in mind an undisputed receivable from an insurance company in respect of some insured asset of ours that had been destroyed
You’re not allowed to anticipate income from some hoped for future activity! Whatever happened to the matching rule?
