Similar question asked in my last exam that I wasnt sure about
Sue returns Roberts dog, Robert promises to pay £50. Sue later sees Robert advert for the reward of the return of the dog for 50. 1 month later there was no money given to sue.
Would she be entitled to claim and why ?Part of me thinks, it was an offer to the world at large and there was a promise however, Sue wasnt aware that the offer was there when she returned the dog. So not sure if sue has grounds to claim??
Thanks

In practice, well, that’s another matter! It depends how good a liar Sue is! And can she keep her face straight when she goes back to see Robert to claim her reward
