    Dear Mike,

I recently (two days ago) sat the F4 paper and got 48%. It was of course my own wrong doing as I thought I could crash the paper with only two weeks of studying.

Your lectures are great and I need to watch them over again, especially the areas where I lack good understanding.

My question is around re-sitting, if I re-sit it in a few weeks, will it be the same questions or does the computer generate random questions ?

    Thanks

The computer generates random questions from a question bank. Some questions might be repeated though. But don’t count on it.

Good luck for your next attempt.

    Gbtech – no harm done

Sarah, they will most likely all be different. There may be one or two the same and there will likely be one or two that are very similar but you sensibll will spend the time before your resit going through the revision kit / exam kit of a reputable publisher.

And, of course, asking questions on this page of the site whilst hoping that I get to your question before gbtech!

    Thanks Mike and welcome Sarah….

I would also like to thank Mike since I cleared F4 a month back with a 88 in CBE…

For what its worth, I used Mike’s videos and BPP Revision Kit….

Earlier I was reading BPP Study Text and was just not able to understand / grasp the whole contract law concept, till Mike made it easy as a breeze with his Godsend videos which I found to be extremely easy to understand as well as retain what I had learned…

    God Bless…

Well, thank you for those kind words – now you really are forgiven for posting on this page!

Onwards and upwards to Fs 5, 6 and 7?

Hi mike. I wanted to ask you if I can prepare for paper F4 by using open tuition notes and your lectures alone ? And also I would like to know which textbook is best, BPP or Kaplan?
    Thanks.

No, the lectures and notes combined are NOT sufficient for F4 preparation. As a bare minimum you must acquire a revision kit / exam kit dfrom a reputable publisher and then spend hours and hours practicing mcqs and mtqs

As for a recommendation from me as to a publisher ….. there is no chance that I’m going down that road!

Different students have different preferences – it’s very much a question of horses for courses and you have to make your own choice

Go to a bookstore near home (if that’s possible) and browse through their study books or ask on the general forum but don’t ask me!

    Good luck
