    Dear Sir,
    Is the Revised Personal Allowance (9,440) calculated in Working 1 correct?
    It doesn’t seem to match with the figure used in the answer on page 171 (10,000).

    The figure should be 10,000 as used in the main part of the answer.
    9440 was the PA for the 13/14 tax year and clearly I missed this when updating the notes! Thank you for pointing this out and we will get that error listed on the errata sheet
