‘The corroded copper remaining in inventory has been identified and separated from the rest of cooper.’
What is the purpose of this sentence in the scenario? Why examiner is saying this to us?
For me triggered an answer for a) ii – identify and explain RoMM. That this part of inventory is not kept at lower of cost and NRV (if any value at all) so assets might be overstated.
But it’s not mentioned as a risk in the answer.Any idea?

But the defect is not easily spotted by eye so there is a danger that the company has not adequately identified ALL the defective wire.
There’s a knock on risk that, if there is some defective wire still held in inventory and not identified, it will be used again in products potentially leading to further customer implants, loss of reputation, loss of goodwill and loss of market share in a competitive environment
All sorts of excitement you could get out of that simple little sentence!
