    Dear Mike

I came across below question on ACCA website (specimen exam) but I am not sure about the correct answer

Which TWO of the following statements in relation to a written acceptance of an offer are true under the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods?

A It may not normally be withdrawn once it is posted
B It may not normally be withdrawn after the offer reaches the offeree
C It may be withdrawn before the offer reaches the offeree
D It may be withdrawn at the same time as the offer reaches the offeree

The correct answer is C&D, However how can the written acceptance of an offer be withdrawn before the offer reach the offeree or at the same time the offer reach the offeree. I believe the four options are referring to when the “Offer” can withdrawn and not the acceptance of the an offer.

If I have misunderstood, could you kindly help to understand the question?

    Thanks in advance

    Gabbi

It’s a good answer to a different question!

I, like you, think that the question is referring to the withdrawal of an offer and not, as written, the withdrawal of an acceptance.

Is there any reason why, when addressing a question to me, you didn’t post it on Ask the Tutor?

    Dear Mike,
    Thanks for your reply.
It was my mistake, just realized after I had posted and I didn’t want to duplicate the question posting on Ask the Tutor.

    Thanks and Regards
