I decided to research on the subject matter of topic 7 (Evaluation of the restructuring of an organisation’s operational activities and the effect on the organisation’s financial performance) However, I am currently having some challenges:
1) Do i need to administer a questionnaire for this topic
2) What other type of information asides financial details of the company should i be looking out for
Can some please come to my aid??

You may need to consider the impact on employees, customers and the wider community as often restructuring involves closing some operations, discontinuing or offering different products. So some stakeholder analysis and the differing effects on various stakeholders may be appropriate. And yes this is one of those topics that may benefit from primary data collection (questionnaire, interviews and observation) so see Prof Phil Clarke’s article on data collection which I think is on p.34 of the Information Pack.

April 26, 2020 at 9:31 am #569267This would seem to fall into the category for this topic – do you have an actual question?
The University would expect you normally to have access to company internal information and conduct some primary research to do this topic successfully. Go to their website
https://www.brookes.ac.uk/acca/for-students/resources-for-rap-students/
and download the document about primary data (also there are probably some other useful resources there). Primary data collection and company internal documentation require a letter of authority from the company so please see pages 29 and 31 of the latest Information Pack
