I would like to know that how to conclude on limited assurance engagement in negatively worded assurance opinion when the practitioner believe that subject matter information is materially misstated and if the practitioner does not believe or he conclude that the matter is not likely to cause the subject matter information to be materially misstated.
Thanks
LKP
If they find nothing wrong, they will say that nothing has come to their attention that leads them to believe the FS are incorrect [much less assurance than saying the FS are true and fair].
If they do find something wrong, then they will say what it is – rather like a modified audit opinion.
Thanks a lot
