Is it enough to pass p5 with opentuition notes , videos and practicing all ACCA Past papers?
March 18, 2015 at 7:47 am #233089Yes, it is. Practising questions is very important. There isn’t a huge amount of new material in the syllabus that you would not have met at F5 or P3, but the questions are very different, do you need to look carefully at those, particularly back to about December 2010 when the new examiner started.

Dear Sir
Sport to repeat but I wanted reconfirm that just using open tuition notes, your lecture and BPP practice and revision kit is sufficient!!!
Because in some other papers it’s mentioned on open tuition notes that’s you should still consult a study text!!
Your prompt reply will be highly appreciated.May 3, 2015 at 7:34 pm #243858Using OT resources PLUS TRYING QUESTIONS from a revision kit or ACCA is enough.
You would potentially learn more from a text, but you have to be realistic about time and memory. Your time owuld be better spent trying and studying questions.
May 1, 2017 at 6:19 pm #384484Is your advice the same as it was two years ago? P5 has most of the same material as F5 and P3?
Thank you
May 2, 2017 at 7:42 am #384546Yes. The syllabuses haven’t changed much. Remember that the questions are very different to both F5 and P3.
