Hi
I am struggling with ordinary and special resolutions and the percentage vote required to pass these resolutions.
kaplan states 75%+ for special resolutions
bpp suggests 75% majority
open tuition 75%
so what is correct?
I remember taking the last acca f4 cbe exam which i failed at 48% and a question came up about the special resolution and the options to choose from included 75% and 75%+.
Hope somebody can help me!!
For special resolutions – a majority of not less than 75% of votes in favor is required. hope this help
Kim, that’s ambiguous!
In a meeting attended by 100 members each having the same voting power of 1 share each and where they all vote, to pass a special resolution will need 75 (or more) to vote in favour
Better?
