Which one is better for self study, BPP or Kaplan?
February 10, 2015 at 10:18 am #227575Depends which publisher you like reading to. Both are platinum approved and cover the syllabus equally good. As for me, I prefer Kaplan for theoretical papers since I find their language relatively easier to understand compared to a BPP text. Whichever text you prefer reading to, give it your best shot, ’cause that’s all that matters.
Edit: Just figured it’s ask the tutor page, sorry for the post. There’s no way to delete the message so I’ve let it be.
February 10, 2015 at 1:01 pm #227624none. Use the notes of Opentuition or any other notes that emphasize the basics. If you know the basics WELL and its application you can pass P7. No details are needed as you wont have any time for details.
What i did is study only one month the theory and the remaining months solving past papers. By solving past papers you will realize that most of the questions were examined and seen before.
Dont panic with the 35% pass rate. The answer is simple. Lack of studying, P7 is not hard.
February 11, 2015 at 1:15 am #227761Thanks js, that’s what I would have said!
Tsar, no harm done!
Qasim, common sense is part of the key here. That, and practice. Endless reading and re-reading of past exam questions. There really is no substitute for practice
Yes, read the notes. Yes, listen to the lectures. But, of greatest importance is a thorough appreciation of past exam questions and answers.
Beware! A sound knowledge of P2 is also necessary for this P7 paper!
