    Hi to everyone!

Usually I like numerical, not narrative courses. But after P1 I like narrative! That was my challenge πŸ™‚

I studied P1 while preparing to December 2014 exam session.
Usually, it is easier and more interesting for me to study numerical papers. Easier for my brain to reproduce material and to tackle with exam tasks.
When choosing P1, I was thinking of it that it is like “blah-blah-blah” paper full with fairy tales of how the organisations could be managed πŸ™‚

Study text is soooo long and, to be honest, a little boring πŸ™‚

But! When I started to watch video lectures of Mike Little, I was so suprised that this course could be so amazing and thrilled and great and interesting!
A lot of practical issues, problems, real life situations.
I always knew that a lot depends on teacher/lecturer. But I could never think that P1 could be so interesting for me!

I watched his lectures a lot of times. Of course they are not magic and wil not guarantee to pass the exam, but I was so involved in P1! The involvement and narration of Mike Little are really great! And I really try to think more ethically and sustainable. Lectures infect for better human being πŸ™‚

I do like P1. It was an interesting journey. Received a lot of enjoy in exam hall trying to answer questions. By the way, it was hard for me to choose only 2 questions out of 3, because I wanted to answer all 3 πŸ™‚ And I do hope I pass this exam πŸ™‚ Anyway, it was so interesting!

Wish all students good luck. And really recommend OpenTution lectures for P1.

Thank you Mike and the whole Open Tuition team for such resource!

    Hi Sangria

None of those lectures is acting – it’s a mind-blowing topic and a real eye-opener. Certainly, when I started researching for the lectures, it changed my own attitudes and acceptances.

    You’re right, it’s a fascinating area and a real life-changer

Hope you passed the exam – let me know please in February

Hi dear Mike! I passed with 54%. Thought that the mark would be higher… It seems hard to predict mark for P exams.
Anyway, that’s good news for me!
    THANK YOU again!

    Hi Sangria

Well done on that pass! The one thing you should learn is that is nigh on impossible to predict your score in an ACCA exam.

Be happy that it’s a pass and you can move on towards the finish line

    Hi Sangria
    Congratulations on your P1 pass.

I too was not looking forward to starting P1 and much prefer the more numeric papers. I have decided to use OT lectures to get me through this paper in June 2015. I have mostly used BPP or Kaplan lectures via distance learning in the past but self funding my qualification is difficult so thought I would try OT. I am so grateful to have access to this resource and I agree the lectures are actually enjoyable and thought provoking, I am no longer dreading this paper. The resources are great!

Thank you so much to you Mike (and the OT team).

I best get watching some more lectures!

    Thanks again.
