dear friends,
going to sit for f6 in june 2015 session. will be grateful for answer of following query;
1) I am from Bangladesh, which variant should I take (Bangladesh variant is not available(
2) which book should i follow (bpp or kaplan)
2) someone saying for f6 december session is fine as in april some rates/policy may change and those may not cover in the book
3) should i buy book now or few days later when updated version is available
thanks in advance
December 16, 2014 at 10:12 am #220831I Strongly recommend BPP, BPP is very near of the exam and more summarized than Kaplan.
Initially i bought Kaplan, but after sometime i realized that i’ll never end within the tight schedule and go through over 800 text pages, then i converted to BPP. but to be honest with you Kaplan Pocket notes is very strong.

December 16, 2014 at 5:19 pm #220908I passed this paper with a 58 with just using open tuition lectures / course notes. Then doing the past 2 or 3 ACCA exams a couple times each within a month of the exams.

1. If you are planning to major in Taxation, then you’d have to find out which variant is most suitable in your country. However, if you are NOT planning to take up taxation later, I’d advise you to take up the UK variant as its study material is easily available as compared to the other variants.

Another one here for BPP especially if you can get an ecopy of the book and then you can read it on a commute into work should you have the time
