-I set for the F4 global and i feel the påper was shallow -not in terms of diaafficulty but in terms of comprehensiveness. it did not assess enough material to test the knowledge base required & expected of a chartered accountant. i feel i over studied and mastered the material for this paper only to find that the MCQs were mostly ambiguos & vague(e.g-Question 33) & the questions were too sporadic in their coverage of the study material. Hence anyone who had done just some skim reading was in the same position with one who had swotted for the paper to pass or to fail. The study material for F4 global is divided into 8 areas (i.e. A-H) & i expected an average of 5 MCQ questions from each area but that was not the case… this is why i feel any pass mark for this paper will not be a true reflection of the knowledge that is supossed to be posessed by the aspiring certified chartered accountant.
