Could someone tell me in P = I + D – Ci, P = profit, D – drawings, Ci – capital introduced, but what is “I” ?

Yes, I’ve read them, but a while ago, and forgot some of it, though I know that it is the diff. b/n closing and opening assets, wasn’t sure about the letter I, but agree, going to learn it again.
