Hi,
I just saw a revised isa 700. In which audit report format changed.
I prepared for the exams with June 2014 bpp book. In which old audit report format there and only a ED for proposed ISA 700.
So my question is that am I suppose to answer the reporting question with revised isa 700 audit report format or just old ISA 700 reporting format.
Please please please reply me as soon as possible.

November 30, 2014 at 8:06 am #214603Sorry for disturbing you again.
I have a question that using isa references in answer would earn me any marks.
Is it enough to just write standard as ISA 240 or I have to write its full name like ISA 240: the auditors responsibilities relating to fraud in an audit of financial statements
November 30, 2014 at 9:34 am #214663Don’t bother learning either the number or the title.
THERE ARE NO MARKS FOR THE ABILITY TO REMEMBER NUMBERS NOR TITLES ! ! ! !
None.
Nothing
Nada
Zilch
Don’t waste your time!
What would the examiner / ACCA be testing? Your ability to remember facts that you can look up on the Internet should you ever find that you need to at some time in the future?
Where in the syllabus does it say that the ability to quote a number or title is expected of you? What you DO find is that the examiner will write a question and say that “ISA 710 (followed by the title of the ISA) considers the blah, blah, blah …
In relation to the scenario outlined above, discuss how ISA 710 affects the planning of blah, blah, blah ….”
Ok?
