I need to ask in part b requirm qs also says to include performan measures bt we not calcuting any ratios in tht ??
My anthr ques is that what is the differnce between
Performance indicator
Performanc driver
Performance measures
Plz explain wt example.thanksNovember 29, 2014 at 9:15 am #214249Ratios have referred to but not shown, for example in the first line of the answer operating margins have been referred to. You usually need to calculate ratios as part of performance measurement and you should show those calculations.
Performance indicator and performance measure are the same thing.
Performance driver is what causes good performance. For example, increased sales might be driven by (caused by) a reputation for good reliability.
December 1, 2014 at 5:56 pm #215313thanks for the differences and am talking about part b the application of prism in ans it suggests improvements but not showing any performance measures(ratios) while in requirement it says to include relevant measures.
December 1, 2014 at 6:41 pm #215368I agree with you. Only the last line of the answer refers to these: Examples of performance measures in these areas would reflect the new aircraft investment (e.g. return on new capital employed). I think that is inadequate as an answer to the requirements set.

February 1, 2016 at 12:36 pm #298849Dear Tutor,
Some of the specific issues I had on this question have been answered above.
Do you perhaps have an example of a company that uses this model as a tool? I can then go to their website and study a comprehensive example of a real model which covers all facets, using live examples and how they link up.
This model is associated with DHL but I have not seen their complete model.
Your assistance would be highly appreciated.
February 1, 2016 at 4:27 pm #298872I’m not sure anyone uses it! At least not in public.
The problem is that if you make a public display of your use of the models (eg on your web-site) you are potentially giving a lot of valuable information about your though processes and strategies. So, firms don’t usually shae their analyses.
