I can not figure out how to do the growth rate calculation on my scientific calculator. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’m a home studier with no one else to ask!
From 2010 to 2013 there are three years of growth.
The earliest dividend is 31.1 and the latest is 36.If g is the average growth rate, then
31.1 x (1+g)^3 = 36
So 1+g = cubed root of 36/31.1
You will have a cube root button on your calculator and so you should now be able to get the answer.
Thank you. I understand how the calculation works I just can’t not figure out where the cubed root button is on my phone. Have tried googling but I’m still not getting the correct answer.

use power button ^ use power 1/3 its an alternate to cubic root 🙂
