Hi, just want to know the meaning of ‘assess’ in P1 question. For example:

    Dec 2012-Q4(c)

Explain what a stakeholder ‘claim’ is and critically ASSESS the stakeholder claim of Mr Krul, the local government authority and the colony of endangered birds.

So anyone can explain the meaning of ASSESS in the question for me? Thanks.

    Hi,
Assess means that you should determine strengths, importance, significance, weaknesses or ability to contribute.

Assess mean that you discuss at both end positive and negative

But what the positive and negative ends could be for this case? It looks easier to assess how strong claims are, what caracterize them, and how much these stakeholders can influence.
