hi,tutor! I would like to gain advice on exam format.it is likely that Q1 is to prepare a report to the BOD.And the standard answer is a narrative report followed by computation appendices.
But actually as a student,we need to calculate the figures and then analysis based on the result.so the appendices comes first or blank several sheets for report followed by appendices?can we gain 4 marks of structure if the appendices comes first?thx!November 13, 2014 at 3:52 pm #209663It does not matter which you do first.
I personally would head up the report first (and start to get the professional marks), and then as I needed workings leave a second page blank (in case the report takes 2 pages) and then head up Appendix where I would start the workings.
An enormous number of the marks are for writing sensibly within the report stating (for example) what things you would calculate (and why) – even if you do not manage to complete the relevant calculations, or get them wrong 🙂
