I need to to know how to get the ‘7 month ‘ value from the above example. tried playing around with digits but couldnt find the $3 500 on the solution. i thought it could be the liability of Ingrida, am i correct?

Sorry, just retread you question. Assuming that you are happy with the 7 month / 5 month split, the profit for the year is $6,000, agreed(?), so 7 months’ worth is $3,500
