a firm purchases iquid in bulk for $15 pr litre, the liquid is then pakaged for sale in 20 litre container. it is expected that 20% of the liquid that is inout to pakaging will b wasted through spoilage
wat is the stndrd cost of liquid in each 20 litre container?
sir john can u please xplain the calculation to me …..
For every 100 litres input, 20 litres is wasted and so 80 litres is packed.
So for every 80 litres out we need to put 100 litres in.
So for 20 litres out, we need to put in 20 x 100/80 litres
