    Here are two sentences from the question – I think that should answer your question!

    “Anda and Kristina bought shares in Liene on the same day, 2 years ago, at $2 per share.
    There were no other investments held by any of the three companies.”

    Is that ok or are you still lost?

    Still lost. I still do not understand how the two sentences can derive the holding. Pls help.

    Ok, Kristina bought shares at $2 each and she has no other investments. Therefore, her only investment is her shareholding in Liene and her investment is carried in Kristina’s records at $400. Therefore she owns 200 shares in Liene and that’s 200 out of Liene’s share capital of 300

    Is that better?
