I am sorry Aisha but I cannot remember what your previous question was (I am answering about fifty questions a day) 🙁

You are going to have to repeat it for me to understand what you are asking.

    Sorry 🙁

    Hi John sir 🙂
I am asking why we do not adjust normal losses for material mix variance, where as we adjust it for usage and yeild variance?.

My 2nd question is what is difference between sales volume variance and sales quantity variance. what the both variance measures ?

    Question 1:

The mix variances is looking at how the materials were purchased – it is not looking at what was produced.

    Question 2:

Volume and quantity are different names for the same thing.
