Respected Sir, opentuition notes are very helpful, but i didnt find f9 MCQs in the notes and on the opentuition website. if am not wrong i read somewhere on the forum that very soon MCQS will be posted on your site ? i didnt find it till yet? can you please prepare the f9 and f5 MCQs from study text and upload them on the site . it will be very kind of you. thanks
September 6, 2014 at 7:38 am #194036For F5, there is already an MCQ test on this website that selects 20 questions from a large bank of questions (so that you get different questions each time you attempt the test).
The same will be uploaded for Paper F9 in the next few days.
However, you must also get a Revision/Exam Kit from one of the approved publishers. They contain lots of exam-standard questions (of both types) and it is vital to practice as much as possible.
(I hope that you are watching the lectures that go with the notes. The Course Notes are exactly that – notes to be used with the lectures – it is not sufficient just to use them on their own.)
September 8, 2014 at 3:53 pm #194326Hi,
Would you be able to advise what is the best revision kit to purchase?
I have an older version of the Kaplan revision kit, would this suffice? Though i am a bit nervous using this kit only as i have no MCQs to practice on.
Can you please advise what would be the best approach to take for practice questions?September 8, 2014 at 6:29 pm #194346All of the Revision/Exam Kits from the three approved publishers are very good – there is not one better than the others.
It will be best if you get a new one because of the MCQ’s. The new Revision Kits contain lots of MCQ’s to practice on.
As you study each area of the syllabus you should then practice questions.
When you have finished studying you should practice all the questions again, but then you should do them under time pressure. One of the biggest problems in the exam is the time pressure – it is then that you make silly mistakes and misread questions, even if you are good at the subject.September 10, 2014 at 1:01 pm #194545Many Thanks John for you advice
