Hi,
Just need some advice. I plan to take F5 in December, I have failed F8 (twice now!!), but now I have discovered OpenTuition I’m hoping it will all become a bit clearer!
Do you think I should leave F8 and do F5 with F7 or F9? (I have completed F4+F6)
I’m just confused as to what to do now. I’m planning to buy the Kaplan Study Text, and revise alongside the OpenTuition course notes and lectures- is this a good plan?
Lastly, is there anywhere on the website where I could find a revision timetable template? I don’t know when I should be starting revising for my December exams!
Thanks!!

I think that you should retake F8 in December (while some things are still fresh in your mind) rather than leaving it until next year – by then you risk having forgotten what you already know.
Yes – getting a Kaplan Study Text is a good idea. The best way of using it is to use it more like a reference book – use it for topics that you have problems with, and for whatever additional background reading you have time for.
Most important is that you obtain Revision/Exam Kits from one of the approved publishers. It is so important to practice as many questions as possible, and these contain lots of exam-standard questions.
Sorry but we do not have a revision timetable template on the website. However, as to when you should start the answer is now!!! There is no such thing as doing too much studying 🙂
