I have recently failed F7 on my second attempt with 48% (I misread the first question & realised & tried to fix, put me 20 mins over my time and had to leave the last question in the exam, if not for this I should have passed). I passed P1. What is a better paper combination F7 with P2 to stick to the same area of study & allow sufficient study time for P2 as I have heard this is the biggest & hardest paper. Or should I sit P3 along with my resit. I am conscious of my next exams as well If I do not sit P2 this time I will have to sit this alongside one of the options (my work requires me to sit 2 papers each time so I have to sit P2 with something).

Ideally, you would want to do p2 once f7 is cleared and you are confident with it. As it will follow on nicely.
I would recommend you sit p3 with f7 especially as you have just done p1 as I believe they do tie in nicely (there is some overlap).
And then you could do p2 with p7 (audit) that’s if you planning to do audit as once again there is overlap here.

Studying for P2 will help your understanding of F7. It means that, if you are up to speed with P2, F7 should be a walk-in-the-park

I think I would be inclined to study / concentrate on P2 and F7 will be improved as you do the P2 work

Actually Mike’s suggestion definitely makes more sense 🙂
